THE H.N.D. BUISNESS AND FINANCE GUIDE TO.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This week on `The HND Buisness and Finance guide to....' we
realised that we told you how to put a disk into a disk drive but we
failed to tell you how to take it out again. Sorry.
If you look at the front of the disk drive, that is the side with a
button and a green light, there will be a light that should be of the
green persaison (I think it's supposed to be "persuasion"... but, who
knows... I'm always correcting mistakes, so I'll leave this one in 'cus
I'm a real rebel ?! - Ed) and a button. Now to eject the disk, carefully
press the button in making very sure that the green light isn't on. Now
when the disk has ejected pull it out and put it in the disk box, which
is the box with disks in it.
Now comes the complicated bit. To switch off the computer you will
notice a plug in the wall. First, press the switch and only after that
pull the plug out of the wall very carefully, making sure you don't
accidentally eat it.
This is a reconstruction of what will probably happen next Monday in
my HND course for people who don't like to be patronised but the tutors
don't realise this yet.
